Choosing A Home Multi Gym

Multi Gyms can be used by anyone for rehabilitation, strength training, bodybuilding and toning. Multi gyms for the home have been around since the 1980's but were originally designed for gym use in the 1930's. A home multigym allows you to weight-train on your own safely. Most multi gyms have common workstations such as chest press, shoulder press, pecdec, lat pulldown, leg and curl attachment and a bar for using to perform pulley exercises. Some have a wall chart included showing all the different exercises that you can do, which is perfect for a beginner.

There are different types of multi gyms on the market at different price ranges. Look for a solid structured frame and decide what facilities you want on your gym, do you want a home gym or would you prefer a functional trainer.

Functional trainers are sometimes preferred by established trainers, giving them more maneuverability and being able to target more specifically each muscle group. A functional trainer is also used for rehabilitation, and is used by physiotherapists, chiropractors, physical and occupational therapists.
